As all industries have become mechanized, industrial accidents were increased. Especially, hand injuries are extremely high in incidence. As the functions of hand are complex, many difficult problems must be solved for its treatment.
In avulsion or degloving injuries of the hand, acquiring to preserve functions of the hand & useful coverage of the soft tissue of injured hand or finger is difficult.
In the case of fresh injury, it is a particularly important to be carried out proper treatment base upon accurate judgement for the degree of functional disturbance will be great, and subsequent functional disturbance will be made most difficult if the initial treatment measure are wrong.
Authors had been treated 32 cases of avulsion, or degloving injuries of hands or fingers.
For the definite evaluation & proper treatment, avulsed, degloving injury was classified newly in more detail than previous classification.
For the preservation the function of hand proper treatment was discussed.
